A University of Development Studies (UDS) student named Mohammed Zakiu Wumpini has been brutally murdered.
The murdered student Mohammed Zakiu Wumpini was a second-year pharmacy student and was found dead in the evening of 25th September 2024 after going out to watch a football match.
Zakiu Wumpini was found the next day near Citadel Hostel with multiple stab wounds, with his phone and motorcycle missing, indicating a robbery attack, other reports also suggest It was not a robbery with his valuables still intact but was a senseless murder on the young student.
His motorcycle was later found parked at his girlfriend’s hostel.
Friends and Family of Mohammed Zakiu Wumpini has urged the Ghana Police Service to be swift in their investigation as his parent are in distraught over the murder of their son.
