Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and former Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku has declared he has officially returned to radio engagements.
In a recent interview announcing his comeback, Sammy Awuku stated his intention to engage more frequently with the public through radio. He called on Peace FM’s Despite Group to include him in their monthly panel discussions.
“There’s too much poison in the system. Propaganda and various agendas are spreading, and if we don’t clarify the facts, it will be problematic. From now on, I’ll be more active on the airwaves,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sammy Awuku has reignited his “Boys Boys Movement” together with former Youth Orgainzer Anthony Abayifaa Karbo to rally support for the Vice President and Flagbearer Dr. Bawumia.
On Wednesday, they staged a campaign demonstration, painting the Madina to 37 Hospital Road in NPP colours. The march featured placards with campaign promises such as Free SHS, No Betting Tax, and Free Tertiary Education for Persons with Disabilities.
However, many Ghanaians find some of these promises ironic, given the NPP government’s recent tax implementations, including the very betting tax they now pledge to remove.
