The Flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party, CPP, Nana Akosua Frimponmaa Kumankumah has called on Ghanaians to have the youth, children and future in mind when voting on December 7, in order to choose the CPP.
Speaking during the campaign launch of the CPP in the Okere Constituency at Adukrom, She appealed to Ghanaians to take the future of the youth and their children into consideration when casting their votes on December 7. She noted that for the past years, the country has been retrogressing in terms of development and the best choice is for the CPP to be given the chance again.
The Flagbearer of CPP also noted that since the overthrow of the CPP government, none of the political parties and leaders that came after Dr. Kwame Nkrumah took industrialization and youth employment serious. She added that government after government that came after Dr. Kwame Nkrumah just came to power to seek their personal interests and not the interest of Ghanaians.
She therefore appealed to the constituents in Okere to vote for her as President and the Parliamentary Candidate for CPP in the Okere Constituency, Joseph Kwadwo Afari-Yeboah to help implement three major people-centered policies to help bring the country back on track.
