Independent parliamentary aspirant for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, widely known as A Plus, has alleged that assassination attempts have been made against the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng.
He made this statement in an interview with Abeiku Santana where he denied President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s claim that his government has done more in the fight against corruption than any other government.
According to A-Plus, the president is very smart and intelligent and it’s one of the things he likes and admires most about him.
“That is why he said more money has been spent to fight corruption which is true but what did we achieve after spending that money even the first special prosecutor Martin Amidu whom we brought accused the president of being the mother serpent of corruption” A Plus asked.
He added that his friend Kissi Agyabeng who is the Special Prosecutor has had assassination attempts a couple of times because he doesn’t always agree to what they say.
“I don’t even want to go talk about it because I know what is there. I just look at these people and move on because if I have to tell you what Kissi Agyabeng has gone through because they don’t agree with him and wish to take him out and I have every information on that” he said.
He disclosed that the same people he’s in a party with have have gone after him and tried to prevent him from doing his job a couple of times but it all proved futile.
“They will finish and wear white and act like saints I’m but I’m too responsible and that is why I don’t talk about certain things “ he emphasized.
