A Member of the National Democratic Congress’ Communication team, Abbah Kojo Harrison, has mentioned that, the New Patriotic ever since its announcement of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has lost its message and resorted to King Paluta’s ‘sisi fia’ music.
The Outspoken communicator for the NDC said, their fierce contenders in this election, has lost consistencies in their message and resorted to using ‘Sisi fia’ music, According to him, when their campaign team hits the ground to campaign, hardly do they come across the Bawumia and NAPO team campaigning but rather what you will see is their pick-ups running on top speed playing the Sisi fia song.
He said, you will only find them dancing to the music when their crowd is gathered while the running mate will be dancing pointing to his waist. This he said does not make the NDC see their opponent in the forthcoming election as a serious contest.
According to him, the Vice President who is contesting on the ticket of the NPP, Dr. Bawumia, is a disappointment for answering the five questions John Dramani Mahama asked him with another set of questions. He recounted how Dr. Bawumia prior to the 2016 elections bombarded the then President and Vice President with over 100 questions, yet none of his questions were answered with another questions.
In his submissions on the maakye morning show, Kojo Harrison expressed the view that, the vice President’s political career has no solutions but rather characterized by questions. He added he now understands why Dr. Bawumia’s opinions on the economy were not taken into consideration as disclosed by many of the NPP’s communicators.
“All what the NPP communicators keep saying about Bawumia having no hand in the economy’s woes is now clearly understood. How will they take his input serious at cabinet meetings when all he does is ask questions? Because when there is a problem and a solution is needed, he will only come with questions. All his life from day one in politics have been questions”, he said.
He further added, Dr. Bawumia has failed his first purpose of being in government when he was identified as the one to help deal with Ghana’s economic issues by the President. He emphasized that failing your purpose for being made the Vice-President in the first place is tantamount to failing as the President.
