The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has boldly stated the Kumasi Airport John Mahama built for the people of the Ashanti region was like a kitchen.

According to, Chairman Wontumi when Mahama was in Office the Kumasi Airport was not a beautiful airport as it is today.

Speaking in a one-on-one interview with GHONE TV Serwaa Amihere, Chairman Wontumi stated, “If you go to the Kumasi Airport, I think when you were coming you flown yourself through Kumasi isn’t it?”
