Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) election campaign, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has disclosed that technical and vocational education has become the go to for many Ghanaian students.
According to him, enrolment in technical education under the NPP has more than doubled from 46,000 to 146,000.
Speaking in an interview of Y102.5FM’s Myd Morning Radio Show, the politician said, “In technical schools the number have doubled from 46,000 to 146,000 and a lot of them have seen technical education as more attractive.”
He indicated that technical schools are now fitted with ultramodern materials and equipment to enhance teaching and learning.
“Now if you want to do auto mechanics, you are given access to simulation equipment and robotics to enhance teaching and learning. This is what we have created for the young people,” he added.
