The Second Lady of Ghana, Samira Bawumia, has called on Ghanaians to support her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in the upcoming December elections.
During her campaign tour in the Eastern Region, Samira Bawumia assured the chiefs and residents of the Upper West Akyem Constituency, of her husband’s readiness to serve the nation and prioritize the needs of the people.
She argued that her husband has a solid track record and is the right leader to continue Ghana’s progress.
“Dr. Bawumia has plans to transform Ghana’s digital landscape, including an ambitious initiative to build one million Ghanaian digital talents, aimed at empowering the youth and driving the nation’s development” she said.
National Women’s Organizer of the NPP, Kate Gyamfua, urged NPP supporters to avoid complacency, warning them against allowing the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to gain momentum.
She reinforced the idea that the NPP is the only party with a proven track record of development and should be trusted with the nation’s future.
