Agoo TV journalist Afia Pokua and Mona Gucci appeared before the Manhyia Palace on Monday to issue a formal apology.

In a viral video Afia Pokua was seen kneeling before several chiefs, but the authorities at the Place rejected their apology. One Chief ordered, “We don’t need anything from this child over here. She should take her sins away”.

In an interview the elder said, “I advised her to kneel before the elders, roll on the floor, and weep openly to show how sorry she was,

“I called her, and she didn’t even listen to me,” he lamented. He further disclosed that Pokua’s father, deeply affected by the backlash, experienced a surge in blood pressure and had sought the elder’s assistance in advocating on his daughter’s behalf. The elder stated.

Meanwhile the elder stated that the Ashanti Chiefs during the proceeding found out Afia Pokua was not from Kwahu as she claimed but rather of Frafra and Krobo descent.
