The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama has responded to President Akufo-Addo’s claims whether the Free SHS is safe with him.
Addressing the people of the North on the President’s tour of the region President Akufo-Addo questioned John Mahama if the Free SHS policy was safe with him.
Akufo-Addo said, “Mr. Mahama which is which what should the Ghanaian people take from you as your position on the Free SHS is it safe with you, are you going to continue or you are going to review it or cancel it, none of those do we know from you. Nobody should be allowed to be the president who cannot answer these questions straight forward Yes or No”.
John Mahama today, October 17 2024 speaking to the Ningo Prampram Constituency responded to President Akufo-Addo, according to John Mahama President Akufo-Addo has been sleeping if he does not know his clear position on the Free SHS.
“When you stop sleeping, you’ll hear clearly my position on Free SHS, I have made it clear that there are implementation problems with the Free SHS because there is no dedicated source of funding, and parents are also not happy with the double track system, also the quality of food the children are being given is not good, and so I have said that the NDC is coming to power and fix these three things”, John Mahama reiterated his position on the Free SHS.
