John Mahama the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has questioned President Akufo-Addo where the money is after he stated boldly that Ghanaians are sitting on money but are hungry.
According to John Mahama after the hardship Ghanaians have experienced under Akufo-Addo, there is no luxury for an experiment, but the country needs experience.
Speaking on a campaign platform John Mahama said, “After the 8 years we have gone through we don’t have the luxury of experiments we need experience. Bawumia and Nana Addo came with very sweet words, and I asked Nana Addo one question he said we are sitting on money, but we are hungry, so I am giving him one question sika nu wohe? Where is the money?”
“I am going to add one more question he is on video, and he said that Kufuor time,1 cedi 1 dollar, Mahama and Mills time, 2 cedi 1 dollar, and that if he was Mills and Mahama he would resign, I am asking him today 1 dollar 17 cedis when is he going to resign?”, he added.
John Mahama further asked President Akufo-Addo who he thought he was to say he would not hand over to Mahama and that it was the people of Ghana who would decide who he would hand over to.
He added that the reason why they are afraid of handing over to him is because of accountability because they are not going to let government officials who have stolen monies go scot-free.
