Hopeson Adorye, the Director for Special Duties of Movement for Change has said politicians’ signing of peace pacts leading to general elections is useless.

Speaking in a phone interview with Okay FM, he stated, “Signing a peace pact by politicians will not ensure peace. The only thing that will bring peace during the elections is advising the Electoral Commission about their actions. The EC needs to pay heed to the concerns raised in order to bring peace”

He was reacting to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) demonstration held on Tuesday, September 17, to protest the Electoral Commission (EC).
