Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has been told to stay her lane as an actress.
Entertainment pundit, Sally Frimpong Mann, says Nana Ama is an actress who is trying to become a presenter.
“I know her to be an actress; I don’t reckon her as a presenter. Every single thing that she was doing in the movie industry is what she’s trying to bring onto the presentation,” she said.
Regardless of the success Nana Ama McBrown is chalking as a presenter, Sally Mann insists she (Nana Ama) does not qualify to be a presenter and must not be recognised as such.
According to Sally Mann, some actresses and actors have invaded the media space as presenters because of the collapse of the local movie industry and argue this should not be condoned.
“I respect whatever they’re doing, but in the space of hosting and presenting, they don’t really uphold the ethics of the job. But because they have fame, they’ve been able to translate that. They have the popularity and have brought it onto the scene, and people love them in that space,” she added.
