Recent reports by the High Street Journal has indicated that a renowned cocoa processing company in Switzerland, who takes its raw materials from Ghana, has been charged for the production of a lead inclusive chocolate. According to the report, not only does the chocolate bars contain lea but also a heavy metal known as cadmium is said to have been found in their product.
The scandal described by Bright Simons, is a very troubling demarketing of the Ghana brand. He called on the authorities to sit up and find the best way to reverse the contamination before the narrative takes hold and becomes uncontrollable.
