JOYNEWS AM Show host Sweety Aborchie has grilled the National Communication Officer of the NDC Sammy Gyamfi for failing to provide a single piece of evidence against Brigadier General Opoku.
According to the NDC and Sammy Gyamfi Brigadier General Opoku has been tasked by President Akufo-Addo to rig the elections in the Ashanti Region ahead of the 2024 polls.
Addressing the press on Tuesday, November 19, Sammy Gyamfi revealed, saying, “Having relocated to the United Kingdom, Brigadier General Opoku has vowed to do all it takes to carry out his shady election-rigging plots in exchange for the position of Chief of Defense staff in the unlikely event that the NPP wins the 2024 elections”.
Appearing on the JOYNEWS AM Show, Sweety Aborchie grilled Sammy Gyamfi for failing to provide a single piece of evidence against Brigadier General Opoku.
Sweety Aborchie stated, “I am just surprised that this whole conversation you have spent more than 20 minutes of this conversation, and you haven’t yet proven one thing to say that because of this, this is why we say that this man is going to rig the elections”.
“Besides, you are only saying that it is because of his track record if somebody chews crab and says chew calabash you should believe him I just want one fact, something that you can tell us that maybe I went to his house and I saw that his storage we saw arms talking about just one then we can move on, otherwise you are just speculating”, she added.
Sammy Gyamfi however claimed the details they have put out is a proof by themselves and that the NDC has received massive feedback from the military and Ghanaians for blowing the cover of a miscreant in the media and the public space.
