A constituent of Akuapim North has got some members of the Sammi Awuku campaign team in a tight corner as he pressed hard with some questions and series of rebuttals at some claims they made.
The campaign team members of Sammi Awuku claimed the NPP parliamentary candidate was affiliated with the area since the year 2000.
Speaking on TV3 NEWDAY Community Manifesto the resident said, “He did mention that Sammy Awuku was part of Akuapem North since 2000, we all know recently Sammy tend 40 years, simple analogy, simple mathematics so deduct 24 from 40 years, when you deduct that, he will be 16 years so what was he doing during that time?”.
He further went on to debunk another claim by the Sammy Awuku team, they claimed to have built a police station in the area. “They mention of a police station in Akropong, that police station was built by the Church of Pentecost and not the NPP”.
The fired-up resident also added that President Akufo-Addo promised them that one district one factory, what factory has been built in Akuapim North? “Again One constituency 1 million dollars so I assumed Akuapim North we have 8 million dollars, what have they use the 8 miillions dollars for in Akuapim North?”.
