The Government of Ghana is one step closer to handing over the abandoned Saglemi Housing project for completion, as two buyers has been shortlisted for final consideration.
Out of 10 firms that show interest in completing the project only five submitted a bid, and after careful evaluation and due diligence conducted by transaction advisors, Deloitte Ghana, two buyers have been submitted to the government.
The two companies selected for the final negotiation phase one will partner with the government to complete the housing project.
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the works and housing minister has said the government is committed to ensure the successful completion of the project.
The abandon Saglemi housing project was started with an amount $200 million aimed at constructing 5000 affordable houses for Ghanaians in aid of the housing deficit.
