Talented Ghanaian Afrobeats and Highlife Singer, Kuami Eugene has revealed that, he started his new record label on the permission of his former boss, Richie Mensah.
Kuami, who has been with the Lynx Entertainment Label for the past eight years has finally started his own record label, under the name of Rock Star Records. Fans who spotted his new projects under the new record label began to speculate that he has left his boss, Richie Mensah to start a new thing. Others also mentioned that, there has been a fight.
In an interview to clarify all rumor and speculations, the former VGMA Artiste of the year mentioned that, Richie Mensah gave him the permission to start something on his own and given that he also wants to help and nurture young talents just as he was done, he started his Rock Star Records. He added that, he is currently not the only person behind the label but it has a group of talented people coming together to support his dream
According to him, Richie remains the Godfather of his new record label and every other talent that comes or works under the label. He emphasized on his experience going into the new phase of his career, saying he has learnt a lot from Richie, from the production, to the talent nurturing and even the money side of it all.
