The founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, has fired shot at President Akufo-Addo for failing to deal with the illegal mining (galamsey) menace in the country.
“President Akufo-Addo is seated allowing galamsey to destroy all our water bodies, they should be careful, why are they destroying our water?” he asked.
In recent times Rev Owusu Bempah praised President Akufo-Addo for doing well but insisted the galamsey activities are ravaging our water.
Speaking to his church congregant, Rev. Owusu Bempah noted Ghana’s water are in a terrible state and called on fellow men of God to rise and help fight illegal mining.
He added, “if care is not taken, we will not get water to drink, traditional rulers, leaders of the country, galamsey is destroying our water”.
Rev. Owusu Bempah further lamented about people in some galamsey communities giving birth to deformed babies without hands or legs.
