Prophet Nigel Gaisie has yet made another shocking revelation related to the hard times the country is facing, saying responsible men now visit his church to beg for food.
Speaking on Accra F.M, the election prophet revealed that, everyday for the past year, around the hours of 1600 and 1800, responsible people troop into his auditorium to beg for food indtea of prayers or financial assistance. He said this is happening due to how worrisome the economy has gotten to, making people unable to feed three times or even twice a day as advised medical professionals.
According to him, on countless occasions have restaurant operators and food vendors who have close relationship with him, called him to complain about the rising situation of men in suit and buying food without protein. He shared that these are not mere allegations but real life situation due to difficult moments under the current government.
He added, the economy has risen to the level that, church offertory suffers from it. He mentioned that, for the past years under this government of Akufo-Addo, his church’s offering after service does not meet thresholds set by the entire church. He revealed that due to the 80% reduction in offertory, men of God are now forced to add some alternatives to raise extra money due to the burden that church members put on them
