The host of Good Morning Ghana, Dr. Randy Abbey has further shared details about the armed men who forcibly wanted to disrupt a live show broadcast on Metro TV earlier today.
According to Randy Abbey, immediately he entered the premises to park he was blocked and they wanted to seize his car, claiming they had a court order against Metro TV.
Speaking in a recorded video, Randy Abbey detailed, “They said they had a court order against Metro TV and I said this car was not for Metro TV, so what do you mean they said they have a court order, I was on my way to start Good Morning Ghana, to come and host my show”.
“So apparently, they had packed there waiting for me if you had a legitimate court order and what you are doing is legitimate come and execute your order why are you looking for me, why do you come and block my car, I’m I Metro TV, I’m I a shareholder or a director and then you come here today and all you want to do is to come and break into Good Morning Ghana when we are having live programming”, he added.
Randy Abbey noted there were also armed policemen following them to do such impunity things.
Armed men stormed the METRO TV and forcibly tried to enter the studio of Good Morning Ghana.
Randy Abbey asserted that they had to go for an abrupt break due to the incident and viewers could still hear the noises of the commotion in their live broadcast.
Meanwhile, In the viral video shared by Olele Salvador on X, Randy Abbey was spotted in a tense exchange questioning some officers of the Ghana Police Service about a court order they claim justified their actions to storm METRO TV.
