Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa the North Tongu Member of Parliament (MP) has demanded the National Cathedral Secretariat release the full audit report conducted on the suspended National Cathedral project.
On TV3 Key points the MP said, “If they believe they have been cleared, that no adverse findings have been made against them, then they should publish the full report,”
The MP further criticized the Secretariat of providing only an explanation of the report, without making the full document available for Ghanaians to examine.
The chairman of the Board of National Cathedral project Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah has revealed that works on the project is set to be resume after an audit report was completed.
The construction of the Cathedral has ignited debates across various sectors in Ghana, Member of Parliament for North Tongo, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has also accused the government of underreporting the amount spent on the project so far.
