Power outages(Dumsor) in the Afram Plains and Kwahu enclave in the Eastern Region did not deter the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from delivering their goodwill messages to the citizens in these constituencies.
During a campaign tour in the region, the NDC team faced consistent power disruptions that have affected several key sectors.
However, the party’s commitment to engaging with the people and spreading their message remained unwavering.
Despite the darkness caused by power outages, NDC supporters were seen standing in the streets, holding up phone flashlights and car headlights to light the way for the campaign team as they spoke to the community.
Their determination to participate in the outreach effort underscored the importance of the party’s connection with the people.
NDC officials acknowledged the frustration caused by the power cuts, especially in the Afram Plains, where residents and businesses have endured prolonged blackouts.
However, the party leaders emphasized that, despite these challenges, the primary goal of their visit to engage with the people and share their message was far more important than the temporary inconvenience caused by “Dumsor.”
