The Ghana Police Service is on a manhunt for a stepfather who smashed 8-year-old fingers for stealing his 2 cedis at Weija.
The man identified as Kadri Kaka allegedly smashed his 8-year-old stepson’s finger with a hammer and also beat him up with a wire.
The information gathered suggests the incident happened at Mayas Deeper Life, a suburb of Weija.
Reports suggest that the Police Service and residents at Mayas Deeper Life, a suburb of Weija, are currently on a manhunt for Kadri Kaka.
According to the boy, his stepfather carried out the gruesome act over his missing 2 cedis and also revealed that on another occasion the man hung him in an uncompleted building as a punishment, putting pepper in his eyes and leaving him there.
Meanwhile, the injured boy is currently with local authorities receiving medical attention.
