The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for the Adabraka daylight Armed Robbers.
Four armed robbers have stormed the Adabraka Market in Accra in a daylight robbery.
In a viral video spotted on Facebook, the heavily armed robbers in masks attacked a man in a red Toyota Corolla that was parked.
According to eyewitness reports the robbers approached the car with their guns and without delay began firing multiple shots into the air to disperse the crowd.
In the viral video Shoppers and vendors scrambled for cover, hiding behind stalls and rushing to safety as guns were being fired throughout the market.
The robbers quickly forced their way into the red Toyota, grabbing large sacks of cash. Within a few seconds, they loaded the bags into their getaway vehicle and fled the scene, while firing shots.
The Ghana Police has in a statement launched a manhunt for the daylight robbers.
According to the Police, they attacked a Jewelry shop at Adrabraka on Saturday 2 November 2024 with one person reportedly injured.
The Police also assured the public that they would bring the armed robbers to book to face justice.
