The Ghana Police Service has arrested a 62-year-old woman including several protesters of the Democracy Hub.
Chaos erupted between the protesters and the Ghana Police Service on the second day of the Democracy Hub protest on Sunday September 22.
The Police in a statement had earlier warned the protesters and vowed to use all legal means to deal with them if they impede traffic flows in the country.
Leaders of the protest also release their own press statement condemning the Ghana police Service of tagging them as “unGhanaian”.
Democracy Hub protesters are determined to continue with their planned three-day protest.
As tensions escalate, both the protesters and the Ghana Police Service remain firm in their positions.
