The Ghana Police Service has revealed they have arrested forty-two (42) members of the Democracy hub demonstrators.
In a statement signed by the assistant Commissioner of Police Director of Public Affairs Grace Ansah-Akrofi on Sunday, September 22, they confirmed the arrest of some forty-two demonstrators who were engaged in various acts of lawlessness at the 37 intersections in Accra.
“All suspects, including some leaders of the group, are in police custody and will be put before the court to face justice”, the Police statement stated.
The Police in an earlier statement warned leaders of the Democracy Hub that they will deploy lawful measures to maintain order if they insist on protesting at the 37 intersection or at any unauthorized locations.
