Ghanaian media personality and broadcast journalist, Paul Adom-Otchere has confirmed that the new Ghana Bar Association President Efua Ghartey is a strong NPP member.
In a recent episode of Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV Adom-Otchere stated the Ghana Bar association elections held in Kumasi was drawn on the middle of political lines Agbesi Dzakpasu representing the NDC and Efua Ghartey of the NPP.
Adom Otchere said, “the Bar conference contest was politically divided because fortunately or unfortunately which ever one fits, both candidates were heavily politically exposed, Mrs. Ghartey a Bonafede NPP member by reason of her own background and by reason of her husband Joe Ghartey”.
Efua Ghartey is politically exposed on the side of the NPP Adom Otchere reiterated.
Efua Ghartey, wife of former Attorney General and Member of Parliament for Essikado, Joe Ghartey, was elected as the Ghana Bar Association President at the Association’s annual conference held in Kumasi, after two attempts becoming the first female President of the Ghana Bar Association.
