The head pastor of Glorious Word Power Ministries International Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu-Bempah has fired shots at Pastor Mensa Otabil who claims God does not choose leaders.
Speaking to his church members on Sunday, October 13, 2024, stated he disagreed with the comments made by Pastor Mensa Otabil despite being called by God he is not one hundred percent clean like any other person.
Rev Owusu Bempah said, “I don’t agree with my Senior Pastor Otabil, because he is also a leader that God has called, I believe but he is not clean one hundred percent, I Owusu Bempah I am not clean one hundred percent, no one is clean one hundred percent”.
“No matter how good you are you are going to sin, so the fact that some leaders made mistakes does not mean God does not choose leaders, including men of God, they make mistakes, but God still calls men of God. Which leader chosen by God had no faults in the Bible? Moses had faults, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, David, and Samson, and many of them had faults. The fact that they were not perfect does not mean that God made a mistake and did not choose them”, he added.
Rev Owusu Bempah further added, “I am speaking in humility, I have great respect for Dr. Mensa Otabil because he is one of our fathers in the work of God, he is one of the good leaders who has helped make Christianity well-established in this country. He is highly anointed, so mature, but it is not right to lift your office while you bring another person’s office down,”
“The God who called you and gave you teaching anointing is the same God who calls prophets and gives us the prophetic anointing to choose, like Jehoiada, like Elijah, Elisha, and Nathan. Some time ago, he had issues, bank issues, and corruption issues. We all supported him with prayers because he is human. It happened to him, and the same can happen to me, so I had no right to condemn him. But if Dr. Mensa Otabil respects his teaching anointing, I also respect prophetic anointing”, He boldly asserted.
Rev. Owusu Bempah noted that if he had a Bank issue like Pastor Mensa Otabil he would have been jailed in Nsawam Prison by now because of the hate people have towards him.
He added that for so many years God has used him to prophesy about who will lead the country and people have been insulting him, but his prophecies will come to pass.
