Over 250 seized sacks of Marijuana burnt in Accra

The Circuit Court Register under its supervision have led to the burning of some 250 bags of marijuana in Bundase Accra.

In the video on social media by GHOne TV the sacks of marijuana were set ablaze.

Marijuana, a non-chemically uniform plant has an adverse side effect on memory, harmful cardiovascular effects, and respiratory problems.

Meanwhile, Ghana’s parliament passed into law the Narcotics Control Commission Bill, 2023 as a result, the Ministry of Interior has been bestowed with the responsibility of issuing licenses for the cultivation of cannabis, opening avenues for the utilization of this versatile plant in various beneficial applications.
