The lead economic analyst of the New Force Hubert Baidoo has fired Ghanaian leaders over their lack of willingness to develop the country.
According to Hurbert Baidoo Ghana’s GDP is almost the same as that of Harvard University but it is only overseen by just one person.
Speaking on Onua Maakye he revealed, “Harvard University and Ghana’s GDP is almost the same, it is over 60 billion dollars, and there is only one person who oversees it”.
“It is about the structures, if you have the will to develop the country you will do it. Our leaders don’t have the political will to develop this country, and we have also given them authority”, he added.
He further added, “We are suffering from the sunk cost fallacy and the Stockholm syndrome and the earlier we break it the better for all of us”.
The sunk cost fallacy is one tendency to continue with an endeavor we’ve invested money, effort, or time in even if the current costs outweigh the benefits.
Stockholm syndrome is a psychological response where a captive begins to identify closely with his or her captors, as well as with their agenda and demands.
