Founder and Leader of the All People’s Congress, Dr Hassan Ayariga says Ghana as it stands now appears to have no future, describes the economy as a banana economy.
Dr. Ayariga made these comments during an interview with pulse Ghana ahead of the December 7 elections. He is amongst the 12 candidates seeking to lead the country as President in 2025.
He shared during the interview that, the current two political parties do not have policies well fitted into straightening the economy from it’s curved status. He shared that what the NPP and NDC candidates constantly give Ghanaians ahead of every election are promises and not policies. He bemoaned how the people fall so fast for such promises and over look well crafted policies meant for the betterment of the country.
He stressed that,until the level of illiteracy towards the NPP and NDC is overcome, the country will be remain without future.
The Leader of the APC also stated that, the country has reached a level where the people have stopped voting for brains and rather vote for more money.
Dr. Ayariga further stated that, he is no rush to become a president but in a rush to solve the problems of the country because the nation needs its enormous problems solved rather than a President. He also revealed that as it stands now, if Kwame Nkrumah should return from the dead to contest in elections, he will not get even 1% of votes.
