The Ghana Football Association has debunk rumors of a new German coach for the Black Stars, affirming that Otto Addo still remains at post as head coach of the Black Stars.
In the past weeks following the National Men’s Team, the Black Stars’ poor performance in the AFCON and World Cup Qualifiers, there were rumors that, the GFA Boss, Kurt Okraku has met with a German Coach over a potential take over from Otto Addo.
The GFA has released an official communique to clarify situations saying every publication suggesting a potential German Coach appointment should be treated as false. The statement said the visit of the GFA Boss to Germany was to strengthen ties between the Official Kit Sponsor of the Ghanaian National Teams, Puma and has nothing to do with a German Coach.
The statement also emphasized that, the meeting with Puma in Germany was to discuss matters of mutual interests. The GFA further urged the media and the public to solely rely on the official website of the association for factual news and information.
