A Galamseyer has revealed that he bought seven sprinter buses in 2014 which cost GHC80,000 in one week after working at a galamsey site.
Speaking on the Ultimate Breakfast Show the Galamseyer said, “In 2014, one Sprinter Bus cost GHc80, 000 but I bought seven after working for just a week in a galamsey concession”.
The Galamseyer questioned saying, “Tell me which kind of job can give you this amount of money. Which kind of job?”
He added disclosed that, galamsey workers could even make more but for the fear of getting arrested by the security services revealing that politicians have protection so imagined how much they are making from illegal mining.
Meanwhile in Accra there are protest ongoing against galamsey and Protesters are demanding action against illegal mining.
