One military officer has died with five injured in a fatal accident that occurred in the Upper East Region.

The dead military officer according to the reports is from the 11 Mechanised Battalion in Bawku died in a crash near Binduri, and five others are in critical condition.
The military vehicle, with registration number 15 GA 04, was traveling from Bawku to Bazua when it suddenly veered off the road and flipped several times.
The injured officers were taken to the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital and the Tamale Teaching Hospital for treatment.
