An old video of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has resurfaced after the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate John Mahama set five questions for the NPP flagbearer.
During his campaign, John Mahama noted that Dr. Bawumia while in opposition posed 170 questions to his late vice president Amissah Arthur and called on Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia not to waste his time with the 170 which he could answer for himself, but he should answer just five questions he is setting for him.
John Mahama questioned, “Why is the exchange rate 17 cedis today to the dollar question number one, exam he should come and write”.
Netizens on social media platform X, have resurfaced an old video of Dr. Bawumia stating that Ghanaians can see a stable return to the exchange rate, and the cedi has appreciated, claiming when they came into office the cedi was running, and they have arrested it and the IGP had the keys after locking it up.
Meanwhile, the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has responded to John Mahama’s five questions. The Vice President called on John Mahama to engage in a direct debate instead of using “five flimsy questions.”
