Member of Parliament (MP) for Hohoe Constituency, John Peter Amewu has been described as an accidental legislature.

The MP is accused of using thievery to win the seat, and as an accidental MP, he will not get the chance to retain his seat in the 2024 general elections.
Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, Samuel Okodzeto Ablakwa who made this claims believes the NDC will wrestle the Hohoe seat from the NPP.
“John Peter Amewu us an accidental MP, a product of political gerrymandering, he will not succeed again at the December polls because we won’t allow the thievery,” Okudzeto Ablakwa is quoted to have said as shared on GHOne TV’s Facebook page.
