In a heated response to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh’s claims that the NDC is behind the deaths of two pastors and a traditionalist, Malik Basintale, NDC’s Deputy National Communication Officer, has fired back at the NPP Vice Presidential candidate.
Malik Basintale dismissed NAPO’s allegations as baseless and instead turned the tables on him, citing the notorious “Akonfem” saga involving John Kumah. He sarcastically suggested that NAPO’s role in the incident had caused him to “grow slim.”
The NDC spokesperson further compared NAPO’s physical appearance to that of the NDC’s presidential candidate and running mate, suggesting that while NAPO may be facing health challenges, the NDC’s leaders remain strong and vibrant.
Malik Basintale’s remarks have escalated political tensions between the NDC and NPP, with many viewing his comments as a direct personal attack on NAPO.
The NPP is however yet to respond to these allegations, but the exchange is expected to intensify the ongoing war of words between the two parties.
