The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has announced that the party is aiming to win between 28 to 30 parliamentary seats in the Eastern Region in the upcoming elections.
Addressing thousands of party supporters at the party’s health walk, “The Eastern Regional Final Walk,” in Kwahu-Abetifi over the weekend, Frimpong highlighted that the NPP currently holds 25 out of the 33 constituencies in the region.
He expressed confidence that the party could secure an additional 3 to 5 seats, citing its strong track record of developmental projects and hard work over the years.
Frimpong urged party members to vote for Dr. Bawumia to ensure the continuation of successful policies like Free SHS and other initiatives introduced by the NPP government.
Meanwhile, the Minister for Food and Agriculture and MP for Abetifi Constituency, Bryan Acheampong, declared that the Eastern Region is firmly under NPP control as the 2024 elections approach.
He warned that anyone attempting to disrupt the party’s anticipated victory would face serious consequences and expressed confidence in the NPP’s chances of success in the elections.
