A New Patriotic Party man has been captured in a viral video destroying the posters of the NDC in the Ablekuma North.
According to the narrator in the video, who is a unit committee member, the NPP man came in a pick-up car to destroy the NDC posters of Ewurabena and John Mahama in the Ablekuma North.
The unit committee member narrated in the video, “This is the NPP man who came to destroy the papers of the NDC, he came with this Van, to come a destroy the poster that had been pasted, the posters Ewurabena and Mahama”.
“He has come to destroy it, so comrades you have seen it so this is the evidence, it is this man who came with their van to destroy it. You can see it clear he is still doing it”, he emphasized.
In Ghana, it is an electoral offence to destroy, remove, or disfigure campaign materials of other candidates or parties which is unlawful and frowned upon by the electoral code.
These offenses are punishable by law through a fine, a prison term, or some extent.
The incident points out the sensitive hostilities and conflicts that arise during election periods, particularly in areas with strong political rivalries.
Meanwhile, Ghanaians go to the polls in 9 days to decide their next president and their members of parliament for the next four years.

THIS NONSENSE MUST STOP.
The NPP in Ablekuma North is fond of destroying billboards and posters of Everbeautiful Ewurabena. I don’t know if destroying them will win them the seat. No matter what, Ewurabena will win the ABN seat come December 7. pic.twitter.com/zuOHpMF5Si— KOJO DYNAMIC 𓃵 (@AnnanPerry) November 28, 2024
