The member of parliament of Nsawam-Adoagyiri Annoh-Dompreh has reiterated ahead of parliament reconvening that the NPP caucus is the majority in parliament.
Frank Annoh Dompreh speaking to the media noted that the court has spoken and that the NPP caucus knows without a shadow of a doubt that they are the majority.
Speaking to the media he detailed, “We know the court has spoken and so we are in the Majority there is no shed of doubt, after we went to the court the Speaker wrote to the court, I hope you know, what did the court say. It is concluded that we are just looking forward to the substantive case to be dealt with, that is what we are waiting for, but to that end, the NPP knows that we are the majority.
Annoh-Dompreh also revealed his respect for Speaker Bagbin, as he is the most experienced person in parliament.
The MP stated, “I respect him a lot because if you look at parliament, he is the most experienced person in parliament but if he does not do his things right in the few days before the elections, he will be the worst speaker”.
“We expect the Speaker to respect the decision of the court and the NDC should also respect the decision of the court if they won’t respect it the Ghanaian people should know the kind of people who want to lead us”, he added.
