NPP disassociate itself from armed thugs in the Mamobi clash

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Secretary for Mamobi, Augustine Ofori, has distanced the party from the individual captured on video brandishing a weapon during recent clashes between NPP and National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters in Accra.

The Ghana Police Service has declared the suspect, identified by the pseudonym Fatau Motorway, wanted and urged the public to provide credible information to aid in his capture and the arrest of other perpetrators.

The police shared images of the suspect and emphasized their commitment to an intelligence-led operation to ensure justice.

In an interview with Yawa News, Augustine Ofori denied the police’s allegations, asserting that Fatau Motorway is not a member of the NPP and does not belong to the constituency.
