The New Patriotic Party Executive Committee has unanimously confirmed Dr. Tia Abdul- Kabiru Mahama as the Parliamentary Candidate for Walewale Constituency.
In a Press statement signed by the party’s General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong on Wednesday 11th September, 2024 stated that, the decision was arrived at, following the withdrawal of Lariba Zuweira Abudu, incumbent Member of Parliament and one of the two aspirants, from the parliamentary primary contest.
According to the statement, “this resulted in Dr. Tia Abdul-Kabiru Mahama, becoming the sole aspirant for the contest.”
The party has therefore called on all party faithful of the Walewale constituency to offer their unflinching support to the candidacy of Dr. Tia Abdul-Kabiru Mahama.
