A campaign car heavily branded with pictures of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was spotted at a protest organized by illegal miners (galamseyers) at Amenfi East.
The demonstration by these galamseyers was to protest calls for government to place a ban on illegal mining and its related activities in the country.
At the demonstration was a campaign vehicle branded and with the incription “Miners for Bawumia.”
Ghanaian media personality, Captain Smart who believes this is an indication of the fact that the NPP is behind these galamseyers as being alleged over the past few years. Quoting the video, he said, “I can see NPP campaign car there ! Black man and common sense is something else.”
