A video captured and shared by EDHUB has details of a campaign truck belonging to the NPP in flames.
The campaign truck said to belong to the New Patriotic Party in the Jaman North District was in flames as the video captured. Not only was the truck in flames but also the mounted speakers at the trunk of the truck was not spared from the fierce looking fire.
As seen in the video, all parts of the truck was involved in the vehicle as it was left abandoned at the side of the dusty road in the District. Fortunately the video could not record any casualty or persons injured. It appears occupants of the vehicle had fled for their safety when the fire began.
Registration number of the vehicle could not be recorded as the doors of all sides of the truck was left opened. The media is yet to hear from the constituency executives on the causes of the fire and give reports if any person was injured. With few days to election, incidents like this is very well to be avoided to ensure that the lives of individuals are not put at stake.
