In a video posted on social media platform X, Kwaku Manu claimed that not even the Supreme Court, Parliament, President Akufo-Addo, or former President John Mahama have the power to address matters related to the Asantehene.

He emphasized, “I do not engage in tribal issues on my platform, but today I want to address the truth so that everyone will understand the matter.”

Kwaku Manu further asserted that the Asantehene gained his freedom before Kwame Nkrumah achieved independence for Ghana.

Kwaku Manu’s outburst follows media personality Okwaman Piesie Afia Pokua’s criticism of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for not using his influence to address societal issues, instead engaging in disputes such as the one with Dormaahene
