The Minister of Information Fatimatu Abubakar has said that nobody in the NDC has been able to explain their 24-hour economy policy.
According to Fatimatu Abubakar, nobody in the NDC from John Mahama, Asiedu Nketia, has been able to explain the 24-hour policy to ordinary Ghanaians.
Speaking to the media, Fatimatu Abubakar said, “But if someone says I am bringing 24-hour economy and that my formation is 1 is to 3 and brings some ridiculous explanation of something completely irrelevant to our economic architecture and our country as we have it today”.
“Today someone is talking about bringing Lions and Tigers to Ghana and it is embarrassing from a flagbearer and a former president to the National Chairman of the NDC to the spokesperson of the former president Felix Kwakye Ofosu to their ranking members”, she boldly stated.
Fatimatu further reiterated, “Nobody has been able to explain the 24-hour economy to the understanding of the ordinary Ghanaian, today in fact if you want to scare an NDC foot soldier put a microphone before him or her and say explain 24-hour economy. The foot soldiers would run away because their masters and leaders had failed”.
She added that the NDC communicators keep saying different things about the 24-hour policy.
Meanwhile, the 24-hour economy is being championed by the NDC, an economic strategy that involves putting measures in place to ensure that businesses across various sectors of the economy operate both at night and during the day.
