There is a new ‘trotro’ in Ghana called Smart Transyt. These buses are fully electronic buses, which offer the best of convenience to the Ghanaian populace.
Charging the same fares as the commercial buses used in Ghana, the Smart Transyt offers much more comfort as they are fully air conditioned, have charging ports, and use a cashless system for payment of fares.
Currently, the bus plies the Oyarifa and Oyibi route to the central business district.
However, more Smart Transyt buses will reach the shores of Ghana, making transportation much more convenient.
