A member of the NDC communication team, Gabriella Tetteh, has been speaking on the NDC’s 24-hour economy amidst the Adabraka daylight robbery over the weekend.
According to Gabriella Tetteh, she is very convinced about the NDC’s security team input made up of some of Ghana’s finest intelligent gathering persons working on the security module of the 24-hour economy.
Speaking on Metro TV Good Morning Ghana, she said, “Looking at the circumstances it is a whole system that we have to take an overview of I am very convinced we had a security team that is made with some of the best, of the Ghana Police Service.
“Many of them have gone on retirement but they are still some of Ghana’s best people in terms of intelligent gathering and policing, so they are helping to design the security module around the 24-hour economy, and I am very sure these issues have been factored into the policy framework”, she reiterated.
Ghanaians have raised serious concerns about the security aspect of the NDC’s and John Mahama’s 24-hour economy after last weekend’s broad daylight robbery in Adabraka.
The 24-hour economy is being championed by the NDC, an economic strategy that involves putting measures in place to ensure that businesses across various sectors of the economy operate both at night and during the day.
