NDC allowed galamsey to start in 2011 – Miracles Dennis Aboagye

Miracles Dennis Aboagye, the Director of Communications for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s Campaign has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC), allowed galamsey to start in 2011.

Speaking on NPP broadcast dubbed ‘The Next Chapter”, he stated “If the issue of galamsey can be solved easily, why didn’t the NDC solve it? Why did they not solve it in 2011? Why did they allow it to start in the first place in 2011? Because the galamsey we are seeing now started under NDC. From 2011 all the way to 2015 to 2016, they couldn’t solve it.”

He further accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of encouraging illegal mining saying, “NDC was busy telling galamseyers to mine illegally. So how do you expect the government to win in this battle?” He lashed out.
